The time has come for our little one to walk. I can't even tell you how ecstatic Scott and I are. My goal was to get him to walk before he turned one, and he has done it!! He first took his official "first steps" when he was 10 months old, but just this past week he has really been getting gutsy and letting go of things and walking. Tonight we got him on our video camera doing a lot of walking but we weren't able to upload it onto the computer. I grabbed my camera, remembering that I can record with it, and got some great steps captured...what an exciting time this is for us!

Ok this is corny but I wasn't expecting to hear your voice on the video, and when you said "yay buddy" and he looked at you with a huge smile. It made my eyes tear up...I know I'm a sap but it's such a special moment. Just to see his little face turn to you like that. It's just such a special thing to be a Mother and see your child that you have raised growing up. I wrote in Kaylin's journal that I got to witness the first steps of so many she will take in her life. So special, ok I'll stop now...hahaha!
How fun! I can't believe how cute Trent it- Seriously- I think he is just so adorable! I hope my little guy is as cute!! What a big boy walking!!
How cute...way to go Trent!! Now is when the real messes are going to start! Watch out house! ;-) He is SO, so cute!
BTW, no all of us won't be in Fresno...had the reception been the next weekend, all the kids and I would have. Ethan couldn't miss 3 weeks of school. Two maybe, but not 3. BUT, my best friend here is pushing me to go so my mom will have some help. Karli and I may fly the day before the reception just for two days or something. I feels so guilty leaving my kids but I know Chelsea would appreciate it, so I am going to try. I just may see you after all! ;-)
