Every year Scott's family always goes to the Caruther's fair, and this year was no exception. I was excited to take Trent to his very first fair, even though it was in such a small town. We like it there mainly because of the good homemade food. We took the kids through the petting zoo where Trent got to see pigs, cows, and lambs for the very first time.
This little guy seemed curious....
Trent seemed somewhat interested, but we zipped on through the cows part right after my mother-in-law informed us that quote "the cows spray pee out their behinds"...and you can see in the picture....
their "behinds" were 2 feet away...yuck!!!
It's also tradition for the Wilcox grandkids to take a ride on the ponies, however, Trent wanted NOTHING to do with them, which was surprising to me. Maybe it had something to do with the vast amount of flies there, or..the smell...or maybe that it was 8:00 at night. Anyway I got a few shots of our nephew Tyler on the pony..so cute

I've never been to the Caruther's fair, but I did grow up in Madera and we had the great Madera fair!! haha... I now live in a town where the fair is EVERYTHING though- Everything STOPS for the fair week- Its kinda crazy, but it is so fun to go to because EVERYONE is there!
