Today I took Trent to Oso de Oro park to meet my friend Grace and her daughter Bailey. It started out as a beautiful morning, but soon got pretty hot. I took Trent over to the ducks where he and Bailey threw bread in the water for them. I've read several books to Trent with ducks in them, but I don't believe Trent has ever seen them in person. He was so intrigued by them, I could hardly get his attention to take a picture of him. He also swang on the swings for the very first time. He really liked it, probably because it is a lot like his jumper that hangs in our doorway.

Is Trent walking already? at 11 months?? He is so cute!! I just love his blond hair and blue eyes... gets me every time!!
He's been standing up and walking along things since 7 months, just this past week he has been taking about 5 steps on his own. Today he let go of my hand and just started walking on his own, then turned and looked and realized I wasn't by him at all and he sat down with a smile on his face lol...it's an exciting time! :)
What time were you there on Friday? I took the boys around 10:00 and stayed til about 11:45, it was getting hot!!! Did Trent get to play in the little waterfall over by the playground?
we left at about 10:45...so sad we didn't see you! No he didn't play in the waterfall...I didn't know if we were going anywhere else afterwards so I didn't want him having wet socks and shoes
