And it doesn't stop anytime soon as we have to look forward to another trip to a different pumpkin patch, Halloween, and Thanksgiving at Disneyland!

Who's 2 today?

Our little boy is officially a 2 year old!

It's hard to believe that 2 years ago today I was sitting in the hospital meeting our precious little one for the first time. This kid has brought us so much joy and happiness, and the things he says to us make me often wonder if he's really older than 2.

This past Saturday we had a small little party with family for Trent over at my in-laws house. My mother-in-law was gracious enough to make Trent a firetruck cake, a CHOCOLATE with CHOCOLATE MOUSSE FILLING firetruck cake...my favorite (wait a minute, wasn't this TRENT's Bday? not mine hah)  Trent was in good spirits and it was nice to celebrate his day with family

I tried getting him to smile with his grandma Wilcox but he was exhausted and more than ready for bed!

Today on his actual birthday:

I told Trent it was his birthday the minute he woke up this morning, and there were two things that came out of his mouth "I'm TWO!" and "I want Cake".  Apparently he remembered from Saturdays party that when you say "it's your birthday" that it only means one thing ....CAKE!  I was somewhat of a good mom and said no to cake, but gave in to Pop Tarts instead, oh well...

We later met Trent's Aunt Kimmy and her kids along with Grandma Wilcox at Burger King so Trent could have one of his favorite meals ..Burger King Chicken Tenders. (I'm not going to lie, It's actually one of mine, and Kimmy and her kids' favorites as well) Afterwards we went to the park to let the kids play.  This evening we had dinner at my in-laws where Trent blew out candles TWICE on his cake..after the first time he insisted on re-lighting them so he could have another turn. I don't blame him, he won't have the chance again for a WHOLE YEAR!

A Fair Fair

Just like the title says, we went to a FAIR (as in Fair, Good, Excellent) Fair a few weeks ago. I have never been to the Kerman Harvest Festival (a.ka. Kerman Fair), so the first time I went was with the Wilcox side of the fam. My parents were looking for something to do, so we went again a few nights later with the Wells side. I love fairs, mainly just because of the food. But not only was this fair very small (what did I expect? it was Kerman) but it didn't have the traditional FAIR food, except for corn dogs and cotton candy (both of which I had the first night). Trent rode a few rides with his cousins and we called it a night. When I went out with my side of the family a few nights later I made the HUGE mistake of getting CHINESE food at the FAIR..what was I thinking?!? obviously I wasn't...

Needless to say, I had a stomach ache for 2 days afterwards. It was fun though watching Trent ride the rides, and my mom even got to ride a few with him. Note to self and those who are reading, the Kerman Fair is definitely something you can miss and not feel like you "missed out"..get my drift?
