Trent's new seat

Since Trent is rapidly approaching one (3 weeks away), we decided it'd probably be a good idea to get him a big boy car seat...it was a good idea to get him one about 4 MONTHS ago (since he's been in the 85-90th percentile for height since his 2 mo. check up). He was way too big for his infant carseat, but the big car seat we wanted to get him was only front facing, so we had to wait until he was close to one (and 20lbs of course). My parents decided they'd pay a little over half of it as an early b-day present..THANKS MOM AND DAD! so after shopping around, we decided to get the Graco 3-in-one...it had the best reviews, it was reasonably priced, and I loved the colors of it. The minute we put Trent in it, his face lit up. He literally sat in the car seat on our family room floor for 10 minutes kicking his feet and laughing. He's going to be so excited that he can now see things facing forward rather than watching them pass by backwards. Maybe this will eliminate the meltdowns he has as soon as I put him in his carseat..then again the excitement of a new seat will probably wear off very soon!
