Bye Bye Baby Hair

Trent is finally a big boy. It's amazing how much a simple hair cut can change the whole look of a baby. We decided that his curls on the side of his head were just a tad bit too long (about an inch and a half hanging over the ears when his hair was wet) and the hair on top of his head was extremely long too. We broke down and gave our little boy his first haircut. I have to admit it was hard seeing his little curls cut off, but we're glad we did it. He's no longer our little baby, he's our little boy. I can't believe that in about a month he'll be one, where has time gone? Anyway, during Trent's haircut he was a little restless and didn't like the lady touching his hair. He kept trying to hit her hand away. Scott sat with Trent in the chair and tried to keep him still but that didn't work. So, being the prepared mom I am (Scott begs to differ, he says I'm always missing something important in my diaper bag) I had cookies. It's amazing that something so little like a cookie will keep a kid sitting still. So he ate cookies while his hair was being cut, and he did great!

He was curious about the spray bottle

Graham Crackers saved the day!

Almost done....

He was happy to get out of the chair

The finished product!
