This weekend we celebrated Trent's 1st birthday and threw him a party over at Scott's parents house. Trent's actual birthday isn't until the 8th, but since it falls on a Wednesday we decided to celebrate it the weekend before. We went with a football themed party, Scott wouldn't have it any other way of course...and actually footballs are one of Trent's favorite things to play with. We had a lot of family over, and a couple of friends, and barbequed hotdogs, and had chili, chips, and fruit salad (we kept it pretty simple).
Trent devoured his hotdog and walked over to his friend Kaylins highchair and tried to eat hers too lol.
After we let the kids run around the backyard we went inside and opened presents....man oh man did it look like Christmas in the family room, Trent made out big time!
We then had him eat his first piece of birthday cake, and boy did he enjoy it! I dont think he left one bite on his tray.
Trent was in a little bit of a "mood" today, I'm thinking it was because there was a lot of attention on him, and lots of unfamiliar faces staring at him, poking at him, picking him up...lets just say he had had enough, and crashed in his carseat not even 30 seconds after leaving the party...it's rough being the birthday boy.

It's funny, I almost changed my background to the same one you have now!! We just think too much alike. And I think Kaylin will always share with Trent so don't worry about that. What a fun day, we'll have to come over sometime to really try out all his presents. hahaha.
the little guy is already 1! Man they grow up fast and he is such a handsome boy Megan! Its good to see your doing well!
