a peek inside my home...

Ok So I was tagged by two different people to fill out this blog. For those of you who are new to the whole "tagging" idea, it's when someone fills out a survey, questionaire, things of that nature and then at the end of the posting they will name a few names of people they want to do the same on their blog. Well in this case two different friends of mine filled out a questionaire-type blog where they took pictures of different things inside the home, and I'm supposed to carry on the tag.

**These are the rules "you are supposed to take pictures of different things immediately--no straightening up or wiping the kids noses or anything!" I actually took these pictures a few days ago, but I've been sick for the past 5 days, so I'm just now getting to it. .. so...enjoy a peek inside our home, I hope those of you who have kids can sympathize with me.

1) KITCHEN SINK: I think I somewhat passed on this one, this is the area of our home that is usually clean, although the sink itself hasn't been scrubbed, you only notice one dish in the sink..phew!

2) THE TOILET: dun, dun dun.....this was the part I was most scared of. The bathroom I took a picture of is our guest bathroom, but it's also the bathroom I bathe Trent in, and Scott uses to get ready in the morning. We are also renting our home, so the pinkish tile, isn't our creation...but that's ok...I just haven't done much to decorate it, I don't see a point in investing money into a bathroom we're not going to be in in the next year. And Yes...that's Trent in the corner, he loves the bath so he walked straight over to it.

3) THE LAUNDRY ROOM: It didn't say I had to take pictures of the pile of clothes on the floor next to the washer and dryer right?

4) The Refrigerator: well...the fridge looks pretty sad if you ask me...we hadn't gone grocery shopping in 2 weeks, and I've been sick, so it was either take-out or soup. But you DO notice the mint chocolate chip ice-cream in the freezer...mmmm

5) WHAT ARE YOUR KIDS & HUSBAND DOING?: well, Scott got off pretty easy on this one, he was at the gym...so just imagine him lifting weights. Now..onto Trent. This is my favorite picture of all the ones I had to take. Right when I grabbed my camera, Trent was getting into the cabinets below the sink in our bathroom, something he does regularly....also something he does regularly is pull out these....

Scott thought this was a tad bit inappropriate, but I thought it was funny and it truly shows how kids are..they get into the most embarassing things. Trent was also sick, so as you can see he was in a shirt, no shorts lol...that'll change by the next picture he's in, I decided to put him in his pj's since it was almost bedtime

6) FAVORITE SHOES: for those of you who know me, you'll know this was the HARDEST picture for me to take...I'm obsessed with shoes. Alone I have 10 pairs of UGGS, why on earth? who knows...but I do. So I picked some of my favorites, and tried to narrow them down to only 4 pairs.

7) YOUR FAVORITE ROOM: This was a toss up, I love Trents room, but I picked the one room where I can truly relax, any guesses?....our bedroom

8) YOUR DREAM VACATION: ok, this was hard because there's a lot of places Scott and I talk about traveling to, and we both know we WILL go to these places in the future..that's where Scott's hard working will come in. So here's a few of those places...

not just to Italy, but the whole Mediterranean

Tahiti..and We WILL make it there one day
9) Our Closet: Since Scott and I both have A LOT of clothes, I always have the master bedroom closet and Scott gets the computer room closet, so here's my closet, it's a little messy, but that's what closets are for...to shove things in and close the door right?

10) SELF PORTRAIT: Eugh, this was the WORST. Keep in mind I was VERY SICK, infact this was the day I was the sickest, and so was Trent...notice he'd been balling his eyes out and wanted me to hold him, so he has snots galore!!
