Our little Buddy is 1 Today!!

Our little boy is finally a Toddler. It's amazing how fast this snuck up on us, however I can barely remember when Trent wasn't apart of our lives...it seems like forever ago. Scott and I both feel incredibly blessed to have him in our lives. We know that there are so many people out there that are less fortunate, and we count our blessings everyday. Motherhood has changed me into a better person, and I'm so thankful for the amount of love that my heart has been filled with. Until you have kids, you can never truly imagine what it feels like to love your own child, it's indescribable and it's amazing. Happy Birthday Trent, we love you and can't wait to share many more birthdays with you!

Exactly 1 years old..taken today. Happy Birthday big boy!

Trent is such a lovable little guy who is filled with never ending energy. He laughs and smiles easily, and makes the funniest noises. His favorite noise to make is the panting sound of a dog. Whenever he hears a noise outside he makes that sound, since we have a dog..he thinks that every noise in our backyard is the dog. He can clap, wave, snap (although it doesn't make the snapping sound yet) blow kisses, point, shake his head no, dance, walk (working on running..uh oh), climb onto the couch, or anything at the right level. He never ceases to amaze us with his new found talents. His favorite words are Mama, Dada, bye bye, dahdy(doggy), Wuhs-da? (what's that?..he says this A LOT!!), yah, uh-huh, and HA HA (that's the funniest thing he does)..and a few more that I can't remember at the moment. Because of his early and quick progression with different milestones, we've been told everyday since the first time he climbed into the dryer at 7 months old, that we are in big trouble with him. I'm beggining to see that maybe these people are right. As the number of temper tantrums are growing, and the number of things going missing are doubling by the day in our home (he has a secret hiding spot we don't know about and are having a hard time finding), we think this little boy is going to give us a run for our money. But we wouldn't trade it for the world, it makes life more interesting right?
