7month pregnant bow slave

So I'm now 7 months pregnant...and getting so anxious to meet our sweet little Kennedy. I was reluctant to post this picture or even take it for that fact. For some reason with this pregnancy I haven't been feeling as good about myself as I did with Trent. I was totally convinced that I was bigger w/ my 2nd than with Trent until I pulled out my 7 month picture w/ Trent...I looked EXACTLY the same, just 4 years younger lol. My weight gain and belly growth has been the same w/ both pregnancies but my mood hasn't been the same. I'm beginning to think that it's all due to the weather and the winter maternity clothes. I really did feel better about myself being pregnant through the summer w/ Trent, at least there were less clothes on me so maybe that's why I felt smaller and not as loaded down w/ clothes and pounds. Enough of that though, I'm grateful to have this belly of mine. I know most pregnant people going through their last trimester of pregnancy start to not feel as "cute" anymore..right? (I'll just tell myself that)
Other than my "poo poo" mood, I've been doing pretty good. I can tell the baby is getting so much bigger. She rolls around constantly so I get those really big belly movements which is always so neat yet so weird to watch. The jabs in my ribs are a constant reminder that she's starting to run out of room in there. I read in one of my pregnancy books that she should be close to 16 inches long now. I told Scott that I just don't understand how something that long can fit in my belly. His response? "babe..she's all curled up, duh" wow..ya think? haha
Sometimes when she moves I get tears in my eyes still..I remember back to 7 months ago when I was doing Invitro wondering if I'd ever be able to have another baby. That heartache and desire is something I'll never forget. And I think of the pure miracle Kennedy is..our "petri dish" baby. Isn't it amazing that modern medicine allows a Dr. to combine a sperm and an egg to create an embryo? which then 4 weeks later has a heartbeat and then goes on to be a full blown 8lb baby (well I'm assuming this one will be that big since Trent was 8lbs 2 oz). When I sit here feeling my sweet baby move that's what I instantly think about..she started out in a petri dish..just amazing!
I convinced Scott to order new furniture for the baby. We did black furniture for Trent and once he was big enough for a bed we got a black twin bed for him. So his dresser is moving up with him..leaving us dresser-less for the baby. I saw this as my opportunity to talk him into getting cherry colored furniture for the baby.  We had to already get a dresser, so why not get a new crib too? hahah..well he gave in and we just got in the baby's beautiful new crib! Her dresser will be ordered here shortly, along with possibly a glider chair. The next thing on my to do list is painting the room and putting up a chandelier..yep..a chandelier :) I'm really excited about how pretty her room is going to look (I hope) once it's all put together.
This brings me on to my latest obsession. I've become a bow slave. Scott has been working long hours since it's tax season so I've been consuming myself with making bows for the baby. I ordered about 75 spools of ribbon to do bows, yeah (sigh) 75 spools in all different sizes and colors. I've been having so much fun making these bows. I made smaller bows, big bows, and started on stackable bows to go with different outfits. I just ordered 20 more colors..really is that necessary?..but they're all to match certain outfits.
It's getting pretty out of hand I tell ya! haha
My project that I'm starting this weekend is a REALLY cute bow holder for all of these puppies..stay tuned for that, I'm sooo excited about it!
Lastly before I add pictures of my bows, it wouldn't be right to just focus on the baby and not re-do Trent's room at the same time. So we've completely redone it into a Yankees room. We're huge Yankee fans in this house so it only seemed right to make that the theme of his room, and Trent was extremely excited about it. It's almost done, I'm just waiting for a few more things to come in and then I'll take pictures of it.

These are the stackable bows that I've made so far to go with certain outfits. They're my favorite to do!

Then of course we had to have both a Yankee bow and a Steeler bow for her!!

These are the big Classic bows I've made

and these are the smaller sizes that can be used for pig tails later on (that means I'll have to make another set of each color, oh man!)

This is one of my favorites!

Lastly, this is my first rosette/feather headband I made the baby. This is to go with a particular outfit my friend Erin is making her..it's going to go w/ a black and cream polka dot ruffle romper. I just made this for picture purposes and not for everyday use. I bought more fabric to do smaller rosettes without feathers and netting for her to wear everyday. I can't wait to make those :)

Megan you look amazing! You are seriously the most beautiful pregnant woman I know. And I love the bows. You'll have to teach me how to do those.

You look super cute Megan. I agree about winter months though with pregnancy... I just ended up wearing black like every week because nothing felt cute. Next time I really hope to have a summer baby so I can have some cute shirts and summer dresses. AND I love your bows. LOVE them. Super cute, what a fun hobby to have!
