Ghiradelli chocolate milkshake? YES PLEASE!

A few weeks ago my parents, Trent and I (Scott had to work) traveled to San Francisco during the week to visit my grandpa Boatwright (my mom's dad) from Virginia. He was on a cross country bus tour and one of his stops was in SF, so we couldn't pass up the opportunity to see him.  We went up on a Monday and came home the next day, so it was a quick trip but definitely worth it.  We got there later afternoon so we went to dinner at Bubba Gumps, which is always a great choice. The weather was unseasonably cold in SF but that didn't stop us from walking along the warfs the next day, first visitng the old WWII boats & submarines.  Next stop was Ghiradelli Square at 10AM..but that didn't stop Trent and I from sharing a chocolate milkshake, which was absolutely delicious! My parents both got hot chocolate since it was freezing outside (one would think I would go for that instead of a cold milkshake, but I wasn't going to Ghiradelli just to get hot chocolate!) We basically only spent 24 hours in SF but it was a great opportunity to see my grandpa whom we only see usually every other year, if we're lucky!
