At the end of January, Scott and I took a trip up to the bay area to celebrate my dear friend Tina's 26th birthday. I met Tina when I was 18 through mutual friends and we've been inseperable ever since (well maybe prior to the two of us getting married!lol). My bestfriend Lindsay let us stay at her place which was in Santa Clara, so we had only about an hours drive to Walnut Creek. We went out to dinner in Walnut Creek and then went out dancing later. I forgot how much fun dancing is..it's been a while!! We were fortunate to have my parents to watch Trent for us overnight so we could get away and have some quality time together. On our way up there, I made Scott stop at Casa De Fruta so I could reminisce about the good old days when we'd stop there on field trips...but we only left with a bag of sour licorice! I don't know what's wrong with us...there was soo many good things to eat there and we didn't buy but ONE thing! Anyway, we had a great time and can't wait to get back up there and have more friend time!
