Easter a week late..

This has taken me a week to post pictures but our whole family has been getting over the flu, and surviving the last days of tax season. I know Scott is extremely grateful for tax season being over, but I may just be a little happier...it's tough not having a husband around. I get a glimpse into the life of a single mother and I don't like it one bit! Not to mention that I had to be the one dealing w/ cleaning up throw up and diarrhea, that was the worst part!
But now that we're Barf-free (sorry for the "queezy stomachers" out there) I finally have time to sit down and write about our Easter. Unfortunately we all woke up Easter morning feeling sick. I made everyone get ready for church, meanwhile thinking inside that if it weren't Easter Sunday we'd all stay home from church in our pajamas, in the dark, curled up on the couch (with a bucket nearby) watching movies. But Trent had a cute outfit to wear and we had places to go and people to see. After church we went to my parents for Easter Brunch w/ my parents and my grandma. Afterwards we went over to Scotts parents for what LOOKED like an amazing Ham, and Turkey dinner...but I wouldn't know, I only ate a half of a piece of ham and 2 carrots. The Worst part about it...I couldn't even stomach the idea of Strawberry Shortcake for dessert. For those of you who know me, I rarely pass on dessert, it's the best meal of the day, but the darn flu got the best of me. The kids then went on a 2nd Easter egg hunt (we'd done one the Sunday before while my sis-in-law Amy was in town from Utah w/ her kids) and then called it a night. The funny part about it all, is several days later while Sandy was watching Trent for us, he was outside with her looking in all of the bushes for the "balls" (he couldn't grasp that they were EGGS, since the eggs he eats for breakfast look nothing like those plastic colorful things in the bushes). Maybe Grandma and Grandpa Wilcox should just keep eggs in their bushes for the grandkids year round, without candy of course! :)

We had to get the matching golfers hat, so cute!

Hard to get a good picture of us all when we've all got the stomach flu

You have the cutest little family. When is Trent going to get a little baby brother or sister?

Your Easter pictures are so cute! I am sorry you guys were sick...that's a bummer, especially on a holiday. I can totally sympathize since we had the flu over Christmas. You all still look so cute though! Trent is growing up!

Your pictures are darling, even if you WERE sick. You guys looked great anyway! Ugh, having sick kiddos is no fun, and you're right--especially with no hubby around (I'm quite used to that these days!). Hope you're enjoying all that good California sunshine!:)
