Well, Halloween was an extremely busy day for Trent and I. We got up and went to my mom's office to show off his ADORABLE Monkey costume that Scott's mom made him...and let me tell you, it was a BIG hit!! Afterwards we headed off to the church to set up for the Halloween Carnival for that evening. It was extremely difficult taking care of Trent while I was trying to set up for this huge event. Needless to say after 3 hours of setting up, and a few falls that left Trents mouth bleeding all over, Trent and I both were exhausted. After a quick hour nap we headed off to my grandma Wells' house, then to Scott's parents for some YUMMY Beef stew (which, along with 2 other soups & corn bread, is a Wilcox Halloween Tradition). We took Trent along with his other cousins to several homes in the neighborhood for some trick-or-treating.
Trent did very well until he discovered that the items being put into his pumpkin bucket were candy, and then he stopped after each house and instisted on taking the candy out of it. (which was adorable by the way).
After several houses we rushed over to the church to catch the tail end of the carnival, then over to my parents house. Trent did some more playing and eating sweets (LOTS OF SWEETS) over at Scott's parents before we finally made it home, and Trent FINALLY made it to bed around 10!!! Next year I'm looking forward to a more LOW KEY Halloween....hopefully! :)
Trent wasn't a fan of "Ralph" on Grandma Wilcox's doorstep

Trent looks adorable in that costume!! So cute!!
I still can't get over that costume, she did such a good job and he looked adorable! Hopefully next Halloween you'll have 2 trick-or-treaters! :o)
He looks so good in his costume, Sandy is so talented I wish I could make something like that. We missed you guys too at the carnival. We were only there for about 40 minutes. It was way fun but just a lot to fit in with all the other halloween activites, and we weren't half as busy as you!
Looks like you got lots of compliments on Trent's costume...he looks so cute! I wish I could have seen him walking around in it! I'm sure you all had tons of fun! What a creative costume...Sandy is sooo talented! We look forward to checkin' out future pics of your boy! Hope all is well with the family! :)
